I've been doing good, though I'm kind of sick at the moment.
About school I am doing ok so far. Right now I'm pissed for using tracing paper as a cover (like the teacher requested) for my presentation stuff. It ripped off the colors...
:iconbigralph:
Why do you hate Apple/Mac's?

Mac computers look like plastic computers that you purchase for a little girls doll accessories... they blow..useless POS. If you touch the damn thing it will fall apart..ugh..software limitations suck, they are horrid for buisness software, only thing they are good for is graphics and videos..

Everything for him seems to be a bum.
Doesn't specify in which school its happening so I cant say anything about it.

Where do I start...

1 - Waste of useful space. You have like a 12 inch mouse button instead of having 2 (or 3 or 4 etc...) for multiple purpose. It's like the designers think the users are visually challenged and they need bigger mouse buttons so that they are able to click it.

2 - No right click... unless you buy a separate mouse with more buttons. Other than that the default 1 button mouse has to do everything. You need to press control and click to have the same function as the right click. Lazy people like me find it very irritating.

3 - Software limitations. You can find more useful stuff for Windows than for Mac. If any mac user comes to you and says "I can run a windows game on my mac!" its because they are running a Windows emulator... meaning they still need to rely on Microsoft's Window to be able to use it and not Mac for it's software limitations.

4 - Mac users claim that Mac computers never crash, never freeze, etc. Guess what, I've been using Mac's ever since I got here and the damn thing freezes often and its slow as hell. So in that sense Windows and Mac are equally bad. (they are basically the same OS too... just one of them was stolen by Bill Gates and made it more user friendly lol)

5 - Navigating through a Mac computer can result in getting lost very fast.

6 - I'm sure Mac users haven't seen this unless they also have a PC. When you save stuff on a jumpdrive using a Max and then you plug it to a PC you can see that it creates shadow copies. Examble: you save "image1.jpg" Then it will save a hidden file called "._image1.jpg" wasting more space in your storage than it really needs.

7 - They are extremely overpriced for what you get. A mac notebook costs like $2500 USD and you have all of what I mentioned above. While I can buy a PC for $500 USD (hopefully with XP or W7) and do a lot more than a mac, have more compatibility and even customization to some degree. Oh and programs are cheaper too!

However , my latest computer is an HP Pavilion dv7 notebook and it had Vista. It crashed everytime. Vista is a piece of shit. But I got Windows 7 in it and it works great now, Very stable! and for only $30 USD (from $200 USD original price) for being a student. Vista works like... a Mac lol!

...And that's why I don't like Macs.
:)

(it felt good saying this lol)

Yes!
and even for graphics and videos get a PC with nVidia or ATI graphic cards and it will work great.
